We are looking for an Apprentice A&P who wants to join and be a part of our GA maintenance team.
We are a supportive and fun-loving group that treasures each other and working together as a team
to build J&G. Oh yeah, did I mention a regular weekly schedule with weekends and holidays off?
J&G Aviation, LLC is a general aviation maintenance business based out of Grand Prairie Airport
(KGPM). The company prides itself on high quality work, constant improvement, transparent
communications, and timely aircraft turnaround times.
Prior to hiring, our company conducts references checks, background checks, and applicants must
pass a drug test.

Duties:
Report directly to your designated A&P
Assist AP’s with aircraft maintenance in accordance with established guidance and in a
timely manner, to include, but not limited to 100hr/annual inspections, repairs,
required/requested maintenance, and installs.
Attend and participate in scheduled company meetings.
Maintain your training logbook
Wear provided uniforms every day in the shop.
Ensure work area, shop, tools, and parts are clean and organized.
Maintain the overall condition of the shop and shop supplies
Must have the ability to bend, squat, and work in tight spaces for extended periods of time.
Effective Communication Skills: Use verbal interactions, email, and Slack to communicate
issues, updates, and requests for information.
General computer skills: G-Suite email, Slack, AD Toolbox, Quantum MX, Zoom, Google
Calendar, industry websites, manual, and others as needed.
Additional duties as necessary and assigned.
Job Requirements:
Fit the J&G Aviation company culture; Highly motivated to learn and contribute; Must provide own
laptop. Start to acquire specified tools for personal tool kit as directed. Completed A&P program or enrolled in Part 147 or online 147 school.
Job Preferences: Proficiency in using personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets, and
computer-based maintenance tracking programs.
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience with scheduled pay raises at the 90 and 180 day
points.
Relocation: N/A
Travel: Minimal (less than 5%). Some local area travel to conduct Aircraft -On-Ground (AOG) may
be required.
