ICA

An Instruction for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) is an FAA requirement for each Supplemental Type Certificates (STC).  Essentially, it is required maintenance actions to keep the aircraft in an airworthy status.  Because an STC is an amendment to the aircraft’s original Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS), compliance with the ICA is considered part of the required inspection.
